It is important to have your chimney swept at least once a year. Depending on the type of fuel and how often it is used, it may need sweeping more frequently.
A clean chimney or flue gives you peace of mind and reduces the chance of a chimney fire. We use the appropriate and best suited sweeping system & brush for your chimney with a specialist vacuum for hazardous waste with an advanced HEPA filtration system to ensure harmful soot particles are captured as much as possible.
For particularly dusty jobs like sweeping inglenooks or bird nest removal we have additional dust extraction equipment. Every care is taken to keep your home clean from soot.
After every sweep we carry out a smoke test before issuing you with a certificate of sweeping.
Our sweep was trained by, and is fully registered with APICS, and is an approved sweep with the Solid Fuel Association.
A DBS (criminal record) check is also part of APICS membership.
